What are you looking forward to telling your grandchildren?

TED2008 kicks off this week, with one complete session streaming free to the world. I am continually excited by this lecture series, and usually work through my afternoons with stories of drinking machines and amphibian love running in the background.

Attending TED is now on my list of things I'd like to experience in my lifetime. It is right up there with going to the Olympics and learning how to parallel park from a high-speed perpendicular direction. (A $6000 ticket, though, is going to require a bit of conscious saving.)

In the mean time, IDEO is letting us play at home... or at least letting those with Vista play.
